ENROLLMENT

Even though most of our students are referred to us by current or past families, a private tour is the initial step in the application process. During this private tour, you will see our facility and observe our classrooms to help you determine if our school is a good fit for your child. We ask that you bring your child with you on the tour so he/she also gets the opportunity to see the school and to meet our teachers. The tour is an excellent time to ask questions you may have about our program, so arrive prepared to observe and ask questions

Our Program

Admission Requirements

  1. Our program is licensed by the State of California for children ages 2 to 5 years. A child must be 2 years of age or older at the time the child starts in our program.
  2. All admission forms must be completed two weeks prior to the child’s first day of attendance. The application can be downloaded from our website or will be provided during the private tour.
  3. Children must have all required vaccinations. The Physician’s Report (part of the application) with immunization record must be provided by parents.
  4. Enrollment is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis according to the date of enrollment with the Director.

Admissions & Fees

REGISTRATION FEE

$100.00 is due with the application for enrollment. Registration fee is non refundable.

RE-ENROLLMENT FEE

$50.00 annual fee is collected in June to update records and to guarantee placement for upcoming school year.

DEPOSIT FEE

Half of the monthly fee is required along with monthly tuition upon enrollment. Deposit will be credited towards the last month’s tuition upon student withdrawal with 30 days notice.

  1. WHAT AGE CAN CHILDREN START AT YOUR PRESCHOOL?
    Children can start at our school at age 2. Our center is licensed for ages 2 to 5.
  2. WHEN DO I NEED TO START LOOKING FOR A PRESCHOOL FOR MY CHILD?
    Most families start looking for a preschool a year prior to desired start date.
  3. WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR TO FIND A SUITABLE PRESCHOOL FOR MY CHILD?
    Families need to pay attention to health & safety issues, teacher to student ratios, teacher qualifications, curriculum, quality of interaction between staff and children, and most importantly whether they and their child are comfortable being there.
  4. WHAT IS YOUR TEACHER-TO-STUDENT RATIO? Our teacher to student ratio is 1:12, but our adult to student ratio is about 1:8.
  5. DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE POTTY-TRAINED TO BE ENROLLED?
    We understand that children develop at varied rates. We assess a toilet training fee ($100 at present) in addition to regular tuition for children who are not potty trained. Our staff holds the privilege in determining whether or not the child is fully potty trained.
  6. DOES YOUR CENTER OFFER LUNCH?
    Lunch is currently not included with our monthly tuition, but we do offer a hot lunch program where families can order lunch on a monthly basis. The cost is currently $3.50 a meal
